Areas of research supported by Training scheme at Postdoctoral levels
Nursing, Midwifery and the Allied
Health Professions (NMAHP) provide the greatest proportion of direct patient care
in Scotland. The potential for improving the health of the Scottish people through
improving NMAHP practice is considerable. The Consortium offers the first co-ordinated
approach to the development of Postdoctoral research directly related to patient
outcomes. Details of the research environments
in which the Postdoctoral fellow will be supported Postdoctoral
fellows will be supported in a research group within our Consortium. The Postdoctoral
fellow will have access to:

Extensive University Library resources -
Support from Research administration and experienced researchers in making and
managing grant applications. -
Support from
statisticians and researchers experienced in qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

groups across the Consortium. -
