This Scheme been developed by Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions Research Training (Scotland) in partnership with NHS Education for Scotland (NES), Scottish Executive Health Department and the Health Foundation.

NMAHP Research Training (Scotland) consortium comprises a range of departments in the Universities of Dundee, St. Andrews, Stirling, Chief Scientist Office NMAHP Research Unit, Institute of Applied Health Sciences Research (Aberdeen) and Robert Gordon University. Clinical partners include NHS Trusts in Tayside, Fife, Stirling, Highland, Grampian, Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles. This Scheme has been developed by Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions Research Training (Scotland) in partnership with NHS Education for Scotland (NES), Scottish Executive Health Department and The Health Foundation.

Applications are invited from Internal Candidates for:

1 Full-time Postdoctoral Fellowship
for
Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals
    • Fellowship offered over two years (secondment from NHS to University)
    • Fellowship will commence in Jan 07, although this may be flexible
    • Fellow will be based within an established research group in either The Robert Gordon University, Universities of Dundee, St Andrews, Stirling, Aberdeen or the Chief Scientist Office’s NMAHP Research Unit.
    • Access to clinical areas will be ensured.
    • Fellow will be encouraged to use the time provided by the fellowships to seek funding to build research capacity within the NMAHP professions.
    • Salary in range of Nursing, Midwifery, and AHP levels.
